The Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) Comprehensive Experience Exhibition Hall opened in Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Cultural and Ecological Protection Area at Furong Town Scenic Area of Yongshun County on the afternoon of June 8.
The exhibition hall consists of the work exhibition area, live streaming area, and cultural and creative product sales area.
Multiple intangible cultural heritage projects, including Tujia and Miao costumes, Xiangxi Tujia brocade weaving, Miao silver jewelry forging techniques of Fenghuang County, “Tahu Zaohua” techniques (a kind of paper cutting) of Luxi County, Miao painting (a folk traditional art and a national intangible cultural heritage in Baojing County), and Xiangxi bamboo weaving techniques, are showcased in the hall. Tourists and cultural enthusiasts can experience the charm of Xiangxi’s intangible cultural heritage up close, and appreciate works with profound cultural heritage and exquisite craftsmanship.
There are various kinds of creative and practical products in the cultural and creative products sales area, combining the intangible cultural heritage as well as history and culture of Xiangxi with China-Chic art.
In the live streaming area, streamers lead audiences from all directions to appreciate the unique charm of Xiangxi’s intangible cultural heritage, in a bid to bring new vitality to traditional culture.
